About Inland Technical Services
Inland Technical Services is a leading independent commissioning, testing, and building systems verification firm serving British Columbia and Western Canada.
Independent Expertise. Trusted Results. Proven Leadership.
Since 1986, we have helped building owners and operators ensure their systems work as intended, perform efficiently, and remain reliable over the long term.
Our work is grounded in integrity, technical excellence, and independent oversight. Through hands-on testing, objective design reviews, and data-driven analysis, Inland identifies and resolves issues in HVAC, electrical, and integrated systems—often avoiding costly capital upgrades while improving safety, energy performance, and occupant comfort.
Our Origin Story
Built on Integrity and Technical Rigor
Inland Technical Services was founded in 1986 by Henry and Vickie Pejril with a clear purpose: to provide independent, high-quality commissioning and testing services that owners and consultants could trust.
Under their leadership, Inland quickly earned the confidence of every major mechanical consultant in British Columbia and grew to become the largest balancing and commissioning firm in the BC Interior.
Henry Pejril played a formative role in shaping commissioning practices across the province, serving on a committee chaired by Cedric Truman (BCBC) and John Lamble (D.W. Thompson Consultants Ltd.) to develop commissioning standards and protocols for British Columbia.
With decades of experience in HVAC design, drafting, testing and balancing, and integrated systems commissioning, Henry helped establish Inland as a respected authority in complex building systems, setting a standard that continues today.
